Hartlie & Cameron

Coming to you on the blog today is Hartlie and Cameron’s October wedding, which is a serious contender for one of the most fun weddings I have ever had the chance to not only photograph but also attend.

From the morning when we started the day to right at the end when the dancefloor exploded, it was a non-stop stream of laughing, dancing and merrymaking. (Do people say “merrymaking” still? If not, this wedding is bringing it back).

The boys getting ready section was an absolute riot with laughter BRO-mosas and cuddles on the bed. Dressed by Ferrari Formalwear the shoes were very, very shiny.

Although the girls getting ready was somewhat tamer than the boys there was absolutely no shortness of laughter and smiles.
The hustle and bustle of the hair (@NFMhair) and makeup artist (@JessicaSearle_Makeup), the bridal party preparing their speeches and the MOTB looking like she’s 33 again (her exact words)!

Let’s take a minute to just stop and admire the dress that Made With Love put together! (@MadeWithLoveBridal)

These two lovebirds met young and have been having the time of their lives ever since. And, as you’d expect, the bridesmaids and groomsmen were just as much fun. I mean, there are wedding parties… and then there are wedding PARTIES.
Lorrie (@MarryMeLorri) was on the mic and delivered an absolute ripper of a ceremony,
Ekhidna Wines (@EkhidnaWines) put on an absolute treat with their always-friendly staff, great wine and delicious food.

Mingled in with the uproarious events were some genuinely sweet moments, too. I loved when we were able to duck out for the last 8 minutes of the sunset and these two were able to just melt into each other.

Special mentions to:
Liz (@Simply.Sublime.Events) for the stunning flowers and cake
Matt & Jess (@BlackCherryEvents) for being a super fun DC/MC duo for the evening
The boys at Jaguar Classic Hire for getting the team there
and of course the simply beautiful acoustic duo at @himandhermusic

Just goes to show that fun and love go together really, really well. Congrats again, Hartlie and Cameron, and is it too much to ask that you put me on the invite list for any of your future get-togethers…? Ha!
